UPPER
The first thing that caught my eye was definitely the rather unusual color – baby pink, featured on both the upper and the sole. It gives the shoe a soft and unified look. I also have to highlight the jacquard mesh, which fits the foot really well while offering great breathability, keeping your feet dry even on longer runs.
The knit tongue and padded collar provide comfort and support with every step.
What I appreciated the most was the heel cushioning – not every shoe manages to be comfortable in this area, but this one nails it.
MIDSOLE
When it comes to high-mileage running, I like shoes with generous cushioning – and thanks to the FF BLAST™ Plus Eco foam, this shoe delivers a lighter and softer landing.
It also features PureGEL® technology under the heel, which helps reduce impact shock.
The cushioning is simply outstanding. When landing, I felt like I was stepping on a soft cloud, but still had plenty of energy for the next stride. Some highly cushioned shoes can feel like you're sinking into them – but not the NIMBUS 27. They offer great support and stability.
