Asics GEL-NIMBUS 27 Review

Who would I recommend them to?

After a year, I had the opportunity to test the new “Nimbus” again and I would like to share my impressions with you…

Since I have experience with previous generations of this model, I had an idea what to expect from the shoes :). This is a very comfortable and well-cushioned road shoe with a neutral tread.

The FF Blast + Eco foam combined with PureGEL works really well and offers sufficient comfort even for heavier runners like me.

The Gel-Nimbus 27 shoe can handle light terrain, such as a city park or a forest trail, with ease.

The new HYBRID ASICSGRIP technology will provide you with the necessary grip and will not slip even on wet asphalt.

What I have to highlight the most is the new material of the shoe's upper. The jacquard mesh wraps the foot perfectly, but most importantly it ventilates nicely, so even in the warm summer months, your feet won't be so sweaty 😀.

I would recommend them to runners as a training shoe for long runs, but they are also suitable for beginners who want comfortable and well-cushioned shoes.

  • Breathable upper

  • Good grip even on wet or unpaved terrain

  • Suitable for beginners and advanced runners

  • Ideal for heavier runners

  • A good choice for long runs
