ENERGYRODS 2.0
The ENERGYRODS 2.0 element is the backbone of the shoe! This is an alternative approach to classic carbon plates. In this case, adidas took inspiration from the shape of the metatarsal bones in the feet, making this element very flexible, putting less stress on the legs while still providing the runner with plenty of energy to propel them forward.
The rear part of this layer serves primarily to provide support and stability to the tarsal bones and the foot in general. The front section consisting of five rods offers support, increased movement and traction.
This technology works in perfect harmony with Lightstrike Pro cushioning.
