The Hoka CLIFTON 9 GTX men's running shoes are the ninth version of the award-winning road running shoe - now even lighter and more cushioned! The shoes feature a new responsive foam and improved sole design. They are suitable for everyday running. The DURABRASION rubber outsole provides excellent grip on the asphalt surface. The midsole made of durable and shock-absorbing CMEVA foam has a specially adapted geometry called META-ROCKER . This technology has a rounded cradle shape and balances the difference between the heel and the toe. In this way, it helps the efficient use of energy with each step forward. You can run in the shoes even if it is wet or muddy outside - they are equipped with a waterproof GORE-TEX® membrane, which does not let any moisture into the shoes and does not impair its breathability in any way.
The upper consists of a breathable knit that ensures excellent air circulation.

GORE-TEX®
The GORE-TEX® membrane contains 1.4 million microscopic pores per square centimeter, which are approximately 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water and 700 times wider than a water vapor molecule. This ensures that the Gore-Tex® membrane is completely waterproof on the outside and permeable to sweat on the inside.
The grease-repellent substances present in the membrane prevent the absorption of body substances.
Shoes with a GORE-TEX® membrane will keep your feet dry and at the right temperature in all weather conditions and provide perfect climate comfort. They are long-lasting waterproof, relatively breathable and protect the foot even in the most difficult conditions.
At Hoka, this technology appears in trail and hiking shoes, where they are expected to come into contact with rain or mud.

META-ROCKER
