The Hoka SPEEDGOAT 6 GTX men's running shoes are the sixth in a series of popular and long-term best-selling trail shoes from this brand. Their hallmarks are high cushioning, stability and grip, which make them suitable for a variety of technical terrain - even for more demanding routes. The shoes feature high-performance, extremely grippy Vibram® Megagrip rubber, which is specially developed for increased grip on dry terrain. Another important element is the META-ROCKER midsole, whose geometric design with a rounding balances the difference between the heel and toe, thus helping to use energy more efficiently with each step.
The upper has been redesigned to provide more room for your feet when moving in the terrain. It is made of breathable mesh, which is partly made from recycled polyester. There is a rubber coating on the toe to protect the toes from stones, branches and other trail running hazards.
The big advantage of this model is the GORE-TEX membrane, which keeps water and mud out.

GORE-TEX®
The GORE-TEX® membrane contains 1.4 million microscopic pores per square centimeter, which are approximately 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water and 700 times wider than a water vapor molecule. This ensures that the Gore-Tex® membrane is completely waterproof on the outside and permeable to sweat on the inside.
The grease-repellent substances present in the membrane prevent the absorption of body substances.
Shoes with a GORE-TEX® membrane will keep your feet dry and at the right temperature in all weather conditions and provide perfect climate comfort. They are long-lasting waterproof, relatively breathable and protect the foot even in the most difficult conditions.
At Hoka, this technology appears in trail and hiking shoes, where they are expected to come into contact with rain or mud.
