The HOKA TECTON X 4 is a trail running shoe for fast technical terrain and long ultra races. It combines a dual-layer PEBA-based ProFlyX™ foam, a pair of parallel carbon plates and a fast MetaRocker™ geometry. The carbon plates are designed to offer efficient rebound while maintaining the necessary stability and adaptability when running on uneven surfaces.
The breathable MATRYX® Micro upper is complemented by an integrated knit collar that helps keep dirt out. Traction is provided by a Vibram® Megagrip Litebase outsole with 4mm Traction Lugs, which provides sure-footed traction on wet and technical terrain.

MATRIX®
MATRYX® is a lightweight, extremely durable, woven material with hydrophobic (water-repellent) properties. The material is highly resistant to abrasion.
The HOKA brand uses it in premium footwear, where the emphasis is on strength and durability.
