Information

Nike Dri-FIT technology is an innovative polyester fabric designed to keep you dry. It uses a unique combination of water-repellent (hydrophobic) and water-attracting (hydrophilic) layers to wick away moisture from the body surface. Moisture that forms on the surface of the body quickly passes through the first layer. The second layer disperses the moisture, spreading it over a large area so that it evaporates quickly. Nike Dri-FIT technology is 100% breathable.

Details

Dri-FIT technology supports the body's natural cooling system. The unique and highly functional design of microfiber wicks away sweat and spreads it over the surface of the clothing, so it evaporates really quickly.

Dri-FIT clothing works best as a base layer, but thanks to the composition of Nike's current collections, the trend is to use Dri-FIT clothing on its own. The Dri-FIT material is almost immortal, it ensures sweat drainage throughout the life of the clothing.

Dri-FIT is mainly used in textiles. This technology can therefore also be found in sports T-shirts, shorts, and socks.

How to wash Nike Dri-FIT?

Products with Nike Dri-FIT technology must be washed according to the instructions on the product label. General washing recommendations can be found below:

  • Wash the products in the washing machine inside out, at a low temperature and with clothes of similar colors.
  • Use powder detergents.
  • Do not dry clothes.
  • Allow it to dry freely or put it in a dryer set to a low temperature (high temperature can disrupt the functionality of the Dri-FIT material and the clothes can become electrified).
  • Do not use bleach, dryer sheets or fabric softeners.
  • Do not use chemical cleaning.
  • When you want to iron the clothes, set the iron to a low temperature to avoid damaging the logos and graphic elements.
