Lightweight optiFOAM² foam provides high shock absorption and energy return for a comfortable and dynamic run. activeCHASSIS™ technology helps stabilize the foot and provides more confident guidance on technical terrain. All-Terrain CONTAGRIP® outsole with 4.5mm lugs provides reliable traction on wet, dry, hard and loose surfaces. In addition, the new outsole design increases the contact area with the ground by 39%.
The durable and breathable Matryx® Micro upper combines lightweight durability with high abrasion resistance. EndoFit™ technology helps to precisely fit the foot, while profeelFILM filters out surface irregularities for a smoother, more stable ride. An integrated toe cap and protective toe cap provide additional protection from debris and impact.

This material has a two-phase composition in the form of two foams of different densities.
