Unlike their widely used Continental™ rubber, this new one is significantly lighter and thinner. For elite racing shoes, lightness is important, and on longer routes, every extra gram is felt in your feet. For this reason, adidas leans towards this sole for its pace shoes. ⏱️
The LIGHTTRAXION outsole is often combined with Continental™ foam to ensure maximum running efficiency. The latter rubber is used primarily in the toe area to ensure reliable rebound without slipping. The rest of the functional surfaces of the outsole are covered with LIGHTTRAXION.

Primeweave
Primeweave fabric is used to make the uppers of adidas running shoes. It is a very comfortable, breathable and functional material. Thanks to the precise weaving, the upper is made of one piece of material, so there are no seams that would irritate the skin.
What makes this material so special? 🌟
Since this upper is sewn as one seamless piece, the density and weave pattern of the individual segments of this part of the shoe need to be adjusted accordingly. In places where the shoe needs more support, the fabric is denser and stronger. Conversely, in places where extra ventilation or flexibility is needed, the fabric is thinner.
