Women's running shoes Asics GEL-CUMULUS 23 W aims to provide you with an even smoother and softer run. The designed mesh upper provides strategic support in targeted areas, while leaving some fibers more open to improve breathability. The upper also works closely with the movement of the midsole, creating a smoother step. The upper of the shoe is made of recycled materials, which reduce waste and carbon emissions. To improve cushioning and flexibility, 3D SPACE CONSTRUCTION™ has been added to the upper layer. This technology is implemented through a series of strategically placed pillars in the midsole, which allows runners to experience greater compression in a certain area without reducing stability. These pillar formations are tuned differently in the male and female models to take into account the biomechanical data of each sex. Under the heel is a softer unit of GEL™ technology - which improves cushioning, while the material of the FLYTEFOAM™ midsole helps to effectively filter out the energy that is transferred to the body.

FLYTEFOAM™
FLYTEFOAM™ cushioning foam is 55% lighter than commonly used ethylene vinyl acetate EVA, yet no cushioning is lost in the manufacturing process. The shape of the midsole returns to its original state after each step. Thanks to the added organic fibers, it is characterized by high resistance.

GEL™
GEL™ technology from inert polymers to form fatigue-resistant silicone reduces impacts by absorbing their energy. This results in very effective damping resulting in excellent comfort. It is strategically placed under the heel ( so-called Rearfoot GEL™ ), allowing a smooth transition to the toe, where it improves impact reduction when moving forward ( so-called Forefoot GEL™ ).
