Asics GEL-KAYANO LITE 2 W women's running shoes are a lightweight version of the popular GEL-KAYANO 28 W model with a pronation tread. Mostly recycled polyester was used for the production of the breathable mesh upper. Inside is the OrthoLite antib antibacterial pad. HEEL CLUTCHING SYSTEM™ strengthens the outer heel and fixes the foot better from the outside when running. I.G.S.™ (IMPACT GUIDANCE SYSTEM) distributes pressure throughout the shoe from heel to toe, resulting in a smoother, pain-free run. The differences from the Kayan 28 are the differently shaped FLYTEFOAM™ midsole greater softness and better return on energy, and then especially the absence of stabilizing elements DYNAMIC DUOMAX™ and TRUSSTIC™. Pronation support is solved here using 3D SPACE CONSTRUCTION™ using different material densities on both the outer and more massive inner side of the midsole. The characteristic technology of the Asics brand, GEL™, which takes care of shock absorption, can only be found here under the toe here, the visible under the heel is missing. The sole made of durable AHARPLUS™ rubber offers up to three times higher resistance than conventional rubbers. The segments have excellent grip and significantly contribute to the overall life of the footwear.

AHARPLUS™
AHARPLUS™ are rubber segments on the outside of the sole with excellent grip when in contact with the ground. They are characterized by resistance to abrasion and have an effect on the overall life of the footwear.

FLYTEFOAM™ cushioning foam is 55% lighter than commonly used ethylene vinyl acetate EVA, yet no cushioning is lost in the manufacturing process. The shape of the midsole returns to its original state after each step. Thanks to the added organic fibers, it is characterized by high resistance.
