The Asics GT-1000 10 women's running shoes are an updated version introduced for the 10th anniversary of the GT-1000™ model line. They are designed for runners with an active lifestyle who are looking for a reliable partner with excellent cushioning for everyday running activity. The upper has been re-enhanced with a new upper mesh that adapts to the natural shape of the foot and keeps the foot firmly in place. The DUOMAX™ thick foam support system located in the middle of the midsole helps to reduce the pronation of the foot inwards, thus improving its overall stability and creating a safe feeling. Following a more sustainable approach, an environmentally friendly dyeing technique was used for this shoe. GEL™ technology, located under the heel and under the toe, takes care of shock absorption. The impact shock is effectively absorbed by FLYTEFOAM™ technology integrated into the midsole, which provides soft support at every impact.

DUOMAX™
The DUOMAX™ support element in the middle part of the shoe on the medial side is made of the same materials as the midsole and guarantees a higher degree of hardness and stability. Its task is to reduce the degree of pronation.

FLYTEFOAM™
FLYTEFOAM™ cushioning foam is 55% lighter than commonly used ethylene vinyl acetate EVA, yet no cushioning is lost in the manufacturing process. The shape of the midsole returns to its original state after each step. Thanks to the added organic fibers, it is characterized by high resistance.

GEL™
GEL™ technology from inert polymers to form fatigue-resistant silicone reduces impacts by absorbing their energy. This results in very effective damping resulting in excellent comfort. It is strategically placed under the heel ( so-called Rearfoot GEL™ ), allowing a smooth transition to the toe, where it improves impact reduction when moving forward ( so-called Forefoot GEL™ ).
