The Asics NOVABLAST 5 W ATC women's running shoes are a new version of the famous origami-inspired model. The lines of this paper art are visible on the midsole, which is made of new high-performance FF BLAST™ MAX foam with excellent cushioning and energy-returning properties. This part of the shoe has a special geometry that provides better energy return from each step forward. The soft AHAR® LO rubber outsole offers very good traction, improves stability and increases comfort.
The upper has undergone a major update, which is now made of mesh. This gives the shoes a high level of breathability and flexibility. Up to 75% of the basic materials of the upper are made from recycled materials, to reduce waste and carbon emissions. The insoles are dyed using a gentle method that significantly reduces water consumption. There are reflective details on the surface of the shoes for better visibility in low light conditions. The tongue has flexible wings that improve the overall fit of the shoes.

AHAR® LO
AHAR® LO technology is a special version of the classic AHAR® rubber, but with a lower density, giving a softer feel, better traction and also less weight. Despite the lower density, the rubber still retains its abrasion resistance, so it extends the life of the entire sole.
