The Asics SONICBLAST W women's running shoes are a new model of the brand's pace shoes that will delight you with their versatility, high cushioning and speed. The durable ASICSGRIP™ outsole provides excellent traction on road surfaces, come rain or shine.
The midsole in this model is made up of two foams. The first of them is FF BLAST™ MAX, which provides the aforementioned maximum cushioning and comfort. It is partnered with the top-notch FF TURBO™ SQUARED foam, which excels in high energy return and flexible rebound that propels you forward. This part of the shoe contains the ASTRO PLATE™ (a lightweight Pebax plate in 3/4 of the shoe's length). It helps to smoothly transition from heel to toe and adds dynamics with every step. Although the midsole is high, the shoes are surprisingly stable.
The upper is made of breathable, technical mesh with minimalistic padding in the heel area. Recycled materials were used to make the upper.

This material is made from advanced thermoplastic polyurethane, which provides the ideal balance between lightness, durability and energy return. Japanese engineers designed this foam to allow runners to move forward energetically and smoothly.
