ASICS GEL-NIMBUS™ 26 through the eyes of our colleague Jakub

The long-awaited new product from the ASICS brand is here! Let's introduce the brand new ASICS GEL-NIMBUS™️ 26 model in a little more detail.

At first glance, it looks almost the same as the previous ASICS GEL-NIMBUS™️ 25 model, and you will certainly not experience such a shock as last year compared to the older ASICS GEL-NIMBUS™️ 24 . Nevertheless, twenty-six is different and has a lot to offer.

The sole boasts a new system called HYBRID ASICSGRIP . It has been tested on different types of surfaces. It is more expressive and it seems that the ASICS GEL-NIMBUS™️ 26 is not afraid of unpaved forest paths or snow.

PureGEL technology is preserved again in combination with FF BLAST PLUS ECO foam. Currently, a great emphasis is placed on ecology, so the FF BLAST PLUS ECO foam contains approximately 20% of materials of biological origin obtained from renewable sources.

Softened interior. The soft elastic tongue and knit collar help make the shoe easier to slip on and better conform to the shape of the foot for ultimate comfort with every step. In addition, the upper is made of a softer material, which should be more breathable.

ASICS GEL-NIMBUS™️ 26 shoes have a 25% lower carbon footprint than is common in the industry.

My own experience?

At first glance, the ASICS GEL-NIMBUS™️26 looks almost identical to the previous model. An even bigger surprise awaited me after wearing them for the first time. The damping here is again excellent, even at my higher weight. However, I feel that the shoe is stiffer overall, which I acknowledge. With the previous ASICS GEL-NIMBUS™️ 25 model, I had heel pain after standing for X hours at work. I also have to highlight the softened interior and elastic tongue. The shoe fits very comfortably on the foot and adapts perfectly, even in my case, to a higher instep. The new HYBRID ASICSGRIP system works great too. When running on a wet surface or on a forest path, the shoe always held me well, which was not always the case with the previous model. So it looks like the Sound Mind, Sound Body™ slogan will work again. In addition, the light flies criticized ASICS GEL-NIMBUS™️ 25 are removed and the new ASICS GEL-NIMBUS™️ 26 will once again be the most comfortable and cushioned shoe.
