Hoka produces the ultimate in cushioned boots for the road, trail and all terrain. Throughout its product line, Hoka shoes retain features such as light weight and midsole and outsole geometry designed to promote inherent stability and an efficient stride.
Hoka is an athletic shoe company originating in France that designs and sells running shoes. It was founded in 2009 in Annecy, France. It was founded by Nicolas Mermoud and Jean-Luc Diard, former Salomon employees, when they were trying to design a shoe that would allow them to run faster, and created a model with an oversized midsole that had more cushioning than other running shoes at the time. The shoes are named after a Maori phrase that loosely means "to fly above the ground".
