The 9FIFTY cut is inspired by caps from the 80s. We can also find variants with a net in the back, the so-called Trucker. Caps with a 9FIFTY cut usually have a large square cap that can be slightly curved. It suits all face shapes.

The New Era Original Fit 9FIFTY Snapback is a retro-style cap inspired by the snapbacks that were popular in the eighties.
The 9FIFTY has a square peak and tapered back opening for a true retro snapback look. The 9FIFTY uses the same structured crown and flat crown as the 59FIFTY, but the 9FIFTY allows you to adjust the size. The plastic snapback closure in retro style is the most common. But we can also meet, for example, a straback (leather or cloth strap for adjusting the size of the cap). Technically, the 9FIFTY comes in three sizes: Small/Medium, Medium/Large and One Size.
Because the 9FIFTY fits most head sizes, this style makes a great gift. It is also ideal for a growing child. The 9FIFTY fit is not suitable for larger heads as it may look too small on a large head. If you wear a fitted cap size 7 5/8, you're borderline. If you wear a larger size, the 9FIFTY will feel too small on your head. For everyone else, the 9FIFTY is the ideal cap for everyday wear.
