The shape and position of the GEL unit in the front part of the sole may surprise you. It is a coin-sized and thick pad. Big things, but they often come in small packages, and this GEL unit is proof of that. The new version, officially called the Twist GEL, is located in the front of the instep and allows the instep to drop slightly along its entire length.

Twist GEL is designed to absorb shocks in the toe and to activate the so-called wing, which enables the natural elasticity of the foot, catching tension and subsequently driving the foot forward.

The composition of the Twist GEL unit is modified compared to the GEL unit located in the heel area to provide a more lively and responsive feel. Twist GEL acts more like a spring than a shock absorber.
