DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a durable water-repellent treatment of the material. Clothing with this technology is characterized by long-term non-shrinking. Moisture simply runs off the surface in the form of small drops. This treatment wears off over time, but it can be renewed using impregnation agents such as sprays.
