Inov-8 is a brand founded by Wayne Edy in Great Britain in 2001. It specializes in outdoor shoes, clothing and equipment especially for cross-country runners and mountain hikers. Born in Zimbabwe, Wayne worked in the footwear industry from a young age, starting with engineering training for the development and industrial production of sports shoes, gaining the necessary experience in development and production.
Inov-8 profiles itself as a manufacturer of light, flexible, functional footwear with the option of choosing the level of cushioning. It thus offers all runners an alternative to traditional cushioning shoes. If you look at them, you will find an absolute minimum of seams, as they are manufactured using the most modern technologies for shaping and stabilizing the uppers. In addition, it offers excellent breathability and, above all, comfort. Another absolutely essential parameter is the option of choosing a drop (slope between the heel and the tip of the midsole).
