The adidas TERREX SWIFT R2 GTX men's outdoor shoes have a highly durable Ripstop fabric upper and a reliable quick lacing system. Strategic places are equipped with TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) overlays, which strengthen the shoe even more. The midsole is made of EVA foam (ethylene vinyl acetate) and is characterized by good cushioning and responsiveness. It effectively absorbs shocks from the outside and is the basis of a comfortable wearing feeling. The Continental™ sole, made of the same material used by the tire company of the same name, is hard and does not slip even on wet surfaces. This model is equipped with a GORE-TEX® membrane with waterproof properties that do not affect the overall breathability of the upper.
The upper is made from a range of recycled materials and contains at least 50% recycled yarn.

Rip stop
Ripstop is a fabric with high strength, made using a special technique. Thicker threads are woven into the thin fabric at a distance of 5-8 mm, giving the fabric a structured structure, a visible square structure. There is an increase in market strength.
In practice, this works by causing the crack to jam against the reinforced fiber and not continue. Ripstop was developed in the USA during World War II.
