"It was introduced in soccer cleats based on measured data on the forces acting on the upper of the boot during various movements of a soccer player, such as acceleration, running, handling the ball or kicking," said Florian Nemetz, senior product manager for soccer equipment at Teamsport Footwear.
Specifically in the Puma Future soccer cleats, it is built into the upper in the shape of a wave and provides targeted support in particularly stressed zones. Thanks to this, athletes can rely on ideal support and perfect fixation of their feet and can move without any restrictions on the football field.
