As the Gel-Kayano celebrates its thirtieth anniversary, ASICS decided to make a drastic change. Stability has never been better! The AHARPLUS™ sole consists of high-quality rubber segments providing excellent adhesion to the surface. The rubber used is very durable, so the sole contributes to a longer life of the shoes. The FF BLAST™ Plus Eco eco-foam midsole is ASICS' newest cushioning element. It offers an even softer ride. Compared to the previous version of the material, it offers up to 15% better cushioning and 15% more energy is returned with each step. This part of the shoe is noticeably taller than the 29. PureGEL® ensures the softest impact possible! It is an improved version of the world-famous GEL cushioning technology. This silicone material is now 65% softer and returns 4% more energy. A special novelty for the GEL-Kayano 30 is the stabilization technology 4D GUIDANCE SYSTEM™. It is a revolutionary element working with body movement. The basis of this comfort system is to ensure adaptive stability using four dimensions – width, length, depth and time.
The upper is made of a technical knit, which perfectly complements the other stabilizing elements of the shoes. It is very breathable. The heel is reinforced and provides support and a stable step. Antibacterial Ortholite® X-55 insole fights odor and provides exceptional comfort. LITE-SHOW™ reflective elements increase running safety in low light conditions.
As ASICS promotes sustainability, the shoes are made from up to 75% recycled materials.
In short, the new Gel-Kayano 30 fights the prejudices that claim that stable shoes are bulky, ugly and uncomfortable. We would recommend the shoes especially to runners with a higher weight and a need for support while running.

The patented Ortholite® technology is an anatomically shaped insole that provides long-term shock absorption and prevents odor in shoes. It also effectively wicks away sweat and has excellent breathability, keeping your feet dry and comfortable throughout the entire time you wear the shoe.
Pure PU in the form of foam is used for production, so the insole is easy to wash and almost 100% breathable.
